Something (Awesome) This Way Comes...

So, here we are: it's getting up on mid-2018, and I'm squatting on a stockpile of songs like I'm the goddamned golden goose and they're my goddamned golden goose eggs. It's dawned on me  that I need to do something with these songs, and hell - I may have hatched (bird pun!) JUST THE PLAN.

Instead of dropping an album-bomb, or an a-bomb, or albomb, or whatever you want to call it, all at once, for this release I'm going to employ the slow-gas-leak method. A little bit at a time, so subtle you may not even notice it until it's too late and then BAM - you're dead! Dead with happiness. Killed by music. In only the best ways.

It'll work like this: at the beginning of every month from JUNE 1ST, 2018 until Whenever-I'm-Done, 2019, I'll release a song. The songs will each be accompanied by an appropriate level of fanfare, including but not limited to military parades, fireworks displays, flashmobs, and open bars, and I'll keep in touch in between releases with posts going behind-the-scenes on the recording process, songwriting, album art, etc. If I'm feeling especially saucy, I may even do some video work of yet-to-be-determined nature (probably porn). 

See, I've been told "content is king" - people are always coming up to me and being like, "Lewis, content is king" - and I'm not one to argue. Fine, content is king! Here's some content! This way, I can stay on your radar for a little longer than if I were to drop a whole album at once. Your attention is valuable, and I aim to keep it.
